RAMI D’AGUIAR

Rami D’Aguiar is a São Paulo based but International Film Editor for TV Commercials, Content, Music Videos and Short Films. After spending 4 years in California studying English and majoring in Communications, Rami discovered his passion in the industry: telling stories using the art of editing.

In 2003, he came back from the US to begin his career and spent 2 years as an assistant editor in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. He then decided to move to São Paulo, where he has been working as an editor collaborating with agencies and top directors from all over the globe, cutting high-end spots and campaigns in Brazil, Europe and the US.  Rami has won many awards throughout his career including CANNES, CICLOPE, D&AD, CLIO AWARDS, EL OJO DE IBEROAMERICA, LE CLUD DES DA PARIS, CREATIVE CLUB OF SÃO PAULO (CCSP) and Profissionais do Ano.

In 2018 & 2020  Rami was Shortlisted by SHOTS AWARDS for EDITOR OF THE YEAR and also won Best Editor at WHEXT AWARDS 2018 and 2019.  Rami is globally represented by Nomad Editing Company in the US, UK and Tokyo.
