Sally Shi is the Managing Director of the Shanghai strand of Stink Films, a global production company working with the world’s leading agencies and brands to create award-winning creative work. With over eighteen years of industry experience, Sally focuses on servicing the growing demand for clients and brands in Asia, and finding opportunities for innovative collaborations with exciting talent. Prior to Stink, Sally worked with renowned advertising directors such as Tony Kay, Alejandro González Iñárritu, and Rupert Sanders. Her background in feature-length filmmaking includes multiple collaborations with the celebrated female Chinese director, Li Yu, on the films Dam Street, Lost in Beijing, and Buddha Mountain. The work was critically praised and showcased at the Berlinale and Venice Film Festivals, to name a few.
