Lia Wu is an Editor and Post Producer who brings a culturally diverse lens to her filmmaking. Born in China, raised in Sydney, and currently living in Tokyo, her rich and diverse background greatly influences her storytelling style.

Her expertise, backed by a Masters degree in Film Studies and Digital from the University of Sydney, was first nurtured at the post-production company Cuttingedge, and she later furthered her career at Mr. Positive Tokyo. Her trilingual proficiency in English, Chinese and Japanese enables her to forge global connections with creators and clients. This has led to successful collaborations with industry leaders such as Netflix, SKII, Dell, Disney, Porsche, Suntory, Bottega Veneta, Chanel, and Rakuten.

Lia believes that great editing surpasses dazzling visuals; it’s about crafting a narrative that captures the world’s vision. She remains committed to creating films that are engaging, inclusive, and captivating.
