Florence Tourbier co-founded one of Australia’s top 5 production companies, Sydney-based Photoplay where she remains a Partner and Executive Producer.

She has 20+ years industry experience, including creative agency roles held in previous lives, before moving over to the production company side and subsequently setting up one of the top production companies in Australia and the Asia Pacific region with her partners.

Florence has produced / E.P’d hundreds of TVCs for a wide range of brands – most recently IAG, Deluxe Group, McDonald’s, Mars, Nike, Vodafone, Hyundai, PepsiCo to name a few – as well as TV series, music videos, short films and other content projects, many of which have been recognized with awards and festival screenings around the world.

Commercial awards over the years include bronze at Cannes Lions, bronze at Spikes Asia, silver Lotus at Adfest, gold at NY Festivals, silver at CLIO, and silver & bronze at AWARD.

Florence was also Executive Producer on Cate Shortland‘s feature Berlin Syndrome which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlinale International Film Festival in 2017. Most recently, Florence was Producer & Executive Producer on the series It’s Fine, I’m Fine created & directed by Stef Smith, which premiered in official selection at CanneSeries 2022 and is now screening on SBS Australia.

Florence enjoys a very well regarded reputation in the industry as a talented and dedicated creative producer & executive producer who combines professionalism with charm and warmth.
