NOBUKI OGAWANobuki Ogawa was born in America and has been working in Japan’s advertising industry for decades.
In the early years of his career, he learned the ins and outs of the industry in Japan, but he soon became aware of a variety of differences between the advertising world in Japan and the way things functioned overseas. This awareness and an innate curiosity compelled him to cross cultural boundaries and pursue a global career.
He joined the Dentsu group in 2008 and became a creative coordinator producer in order to utilize his international experience developed over a variety of projects with global clients such as Canon, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Adidas, Panasonic, Fuji Xerox, American Express Company, Google, etc.
While working on multiple projects, in 2014 he created the international division inside the Dentsu group as a cooperative effort between two subsidiary productions including Dentsu Creative X Inc, winner of a Cannes Lions Titanium. The international division is aiming to become a bridge for the entire Dentsu group and the coming digital age.
Nobuki’s passion is always looking toward the next era in the industry and keeping track of new areas of potential, such as web platforms, digital security issues, startup technologies and so on.
