Nancy Hartley is Founder and Creative Partner of Rumble Creative, the independent agency she formed in 2014 with her creative partner of 16 years, James Burchill. The pair were long-time ECDs of agencies both independent and multi-national and led the creative team on the ground-breaking Best Job in the World campaign for Tourism Queensland.
Nancy has represented Australia twice as a juror at Cannes and has also judged at D&AD, The One Show, NYF, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Dubai Lynx, AXIS and AWARD. She made the list of AdAge Top 10 Creative Directors Worldwide in 2009, the Australian Creative ‘Power 20’ in 2011, ADNews Top Ten Women to Watch in 2011 and is a member of the BADC Hall of Fame.
Nancy’s own agency Rumble was named Asia Pacific’s Independent Agency of the Year at Adfest 2016, and B&T’s State Agency of the Year in 2018. She is also co-Founder of the Rumbletown group of agencies, covering creative strategy, digital, media and PR.
